Our Fertility Medication Division is led by the founder and owner of Austin Specialty Pharmacy who is a Certified Fertility Pharmacist. This practice is solely dedicated to fertility medication and women’s health. Our seasoned team provides a comprehensive coordinated plan of care that is tailored to each couple’s unique situation and needs. This integrated approach of working with your clinical fertility team provides a seamless treatment regimen from start to finish.
Our Compounding Lab is led by our Director of Compounding Services. She and her team provide alternatives medication forms and strengths, customize flavors and textures, and create formulations to exclude intolerable or allergens. This group can create customized medication regimens for clinical trials or for individuals needing customized absorption and dosage.
Our Medication Management Program is lead by our Director of Pharmacy Services who holds a Doctorate in Pharmacology. She and her team of clinicians provide individualized medication management and consultative services on topics ranging from alternative medication therapies and drug interaction to potential side affects and adverse reactions. The team specializes in customized medication packaging to enhance compliance and is available for administering immunizations.
Our Diabetes Management Program is lead by both our Director of Nursing who is a Licensed Nurse Practitioner and our Certified Therapeutic and Orthotic Fitter. Our consultative services include in-depth advise on diabetes management, including nutrition and skin care, and diabetic foot and shoe analysis and fitting. We also specialize in insulin pumps and diabetic testing supplies.
Our Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (WOCN) provides consultative services on products and care to patients and their families. She is also available to provide in-service training to licensed staff regarding wound healing and wound management, ostomy care, the use of compression therapies and advances in skin care.
Our Compression Division is lead by our Director or Orthopeadics and Braces. She has over 25 year of experience measuring, customizing and fitting lymphedema garments, mastectomy products, compression stockings and sports braces. Her team provides guidance in the proper use, care and maintenance of these garments and demonstrates proper donning techniques.
Our Medical Supply & Equipment Division is lead by our Therapy Director who holds a degree in physical therapy. She and her team are versed in the proper positioning, transfer, use and fit of all major medical equipment. Their services include training for family members and caregivers on proper technique, installation and usage. This group can provide in-store demonstrations or in-home consultations to improve life functions, mobility and independence for patients and family members.
Our Health and Wellness Program is led by our Director of Nursing who is a Licensed Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. Our consultative services include in-depth advise and screenings specific to diabetes management, health and nutritional, blood pressure monitoring and wellness. This resource is also available to provide in-services on health, wellness and nutrition to licensed staff.
